Document Background

The background of a document can be easily changed using the background command. There are three options to set the background.

• Solid - Selects a color from the color palette or create a custom color.
• Gradient - Selects a primary color that fills the top of the document and a secondary color for the bottom.
• Image - Imports a custom image as the document background.

Environment

Control and apply various options commonly to a document by using environment. There are currently four properties that can be set using environment.

Environment property settings:

• Background - Selects a background from a drop-down list.
• Fit - Controls zoom factor using fit.
• Lighting - Sets lighting on model.
• Scale - Modifies world space dimension.

Command Access:

View tabAppearance panelBackground, select Environment in the Background Configuration dialog box.
