Custom Appearance Style

A custom appearance style can be created apart from the predefined styles. There are variables that can be set to create unique styles.

• Create New Style - This command is used to create custom new appearance styles. There are four types of styles to select from and based on the selection different variable are available for configuring the style.

  Style Types:

  • Smooth Shaded - All options but the posterization is available when this style type is selected.
  • Simplified Illustration - The silhouette edge color and width options are the only options that can be controlled with this style type.
  • Basic Illustration - Color and width of internal edges and silhouette edges can be controlled in this style type.
  • Posterized Illustration - All options but the opacity is available when this style type is selected.
• Edit Selected Style - A predefined or a custom style can be selected to be edited. Components using the style will update after the style edit.
• Delete Selected Style - The selected style is deleted and components with this style are cleared of any style and restored to their default appearance.
• Clear Style - This option clears the style of the selected components or the entire model to their default appearance.
