Inventor Publisher provides a list of preset styles for each annotation. You can easily change the annotation style by selecting one from the list. To access the style list, select an annotation and click Annotation tab Style panel Style. If you don't find the desired style from the list, you can create a custom one.
Save as a custom style
When no preset style meets your requirement, you can edit an annotation and save it as a custom style.
Insert an annotation to your Inventor Publisher document.
Make changes to the annotation as needed.
Right-click the annotation and select Save as Custom Style from the context menu.
In the Save as Custom Style dialog box, enter a name.
Click OK.
The style is added to the preset styles list.
Rename a custom style
You can change the name of a custom style.
Right-click a custom style and select Rename Custom Style.
In the Rename Custom Style, enter a new name for the style.
Click OK.
Set a style as default
To use annotation styles consistently in your instructions, you can set a preset or custom style as the default style. A annotation inserted after setting the default use the same style.
Right-click an annotation and select Set as Default. When the style is the default style, the Set as Default option is greyed.
Update style
When you change an annotation that uses a custom style, you can update the style with your changes so that all annotations using the style are updated too.
Note: The Update command is not available for preset styles provided by Inventor Publisher.
Make changes to a custom annotation style.
Right-click the updated annotation and select Update. All annotations that use the same custom style as the selected one are updated.
Delete a custom style
Right-click an annotation in a custom style and select Delete Custom Style.
Note: If a custom style is set as default, it cannot be deleted.
