About Settings for Attached Drawings

You can specify how attached drawings work with the current drawing. You can also view information about attached drawings.

To do this...	Use this method...
Create a drawing description	In the Planning And Analysis workspace, click Home tabData panel Define Drawing Set. Click the Drawing Settings tab. See To Create a Drawing Description.
Specify how to adjust the scale, rotation, and XY offset of objects retrieved from an attached drawing.	In the Planning And Analysis workspace, click Home tabData panel Define Drawing Set.Click the Drawing Settings tab. See To Set Transformation Options.
Specify save back extents that are different from the drawing extents.	In the Planning And Analysis workspace, click Home tabData panel Define Drawing Set.Click the Drawing Settings tab. See To Set Save Back Extents.
Vew information about attached drawings such as the number and type of objects, symbol tables, object data tables, and object classes.	In the Map Explorer tab of the Task Pane, right-click Drawings. Click Statistics. See To View Information about Attached Drawings.
