Configuring DWG Data for Publishing

From Infrastructure Studio, you can publish one or more DWG files to Infrastructure Map Serverwhile preserving the data fidelity and stylization of the source files in the map definitions, layer definitions, and feature sources. When publishing, you configure the DWG elements to control how specific schemas, classes, and attributes are managed. You can filter classes based on your preferences, for example, you can filter the Roads class to only include 2-lane roads when publishing.

Infrastructure Studioallows you to publish multiple DWG files simultaneously to Infrastructure Map Server. Each DWG file you load is displayed in the file listing, from which you select a file to view and configure its elements for publishing.

When configuring DWG data for publishing, you can also do the following:

• Save configuration settings to an XML file for later use;
• Load previously saved configuration settings to use for the currently selected file(s);
• Apply the configuration settings for one DWG file to all DWGs in the listing (Set as Template);
• Set an external reference so that only the map definitions, layer definitions, and features sources, not the actual DWG files, are loaded to Infrastructure Map Server; and
• Add or modify a coordinate system for the selected DWG files.
