The revised ODBC Connection Editor in Infrastructure Studio uses an XML driver template file to help you connect to external databases using a connection string.
Edit the OdbcConnectionStringTemplateMap.xml file found in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MapServer2012. Revise the driver name so that you do not have to retype the driver name each time you configure a connection to an external database. You must do this for each installation of Infrastructure Studio. However, this is only required if DSN-based connections are not used. You can also modify the template file to accommodate other drivers, if necessary. Driver names must exactly match the names displayed within the ODBC Administrator under the Drivers tab on the server hosting Infrastructure Map Server.
