Grow, shrink, or change the selected region of CVs or polygon components

Polygon components

Grow or shrink a selection.

Use Select > Grow Selection Region or Select > Shrink Selection Region.

Select the components around the current selection.

Use Select > Select Selection Boundary.

Select all edges connected to the current selection.

Use Select > Select Contiguous Edges.

NURBS CVs

To... Do this

Grow or shrink a selection.

Select the CVs around the current selection.

Select Edit NURBS > Selection > Select CV Selection Boundary.

Select CVs on the edges of the surface.

Select Edit NURBS > Selection > Select Surface Border.
