Two samples files found in the Samples Visor are included to help you experiment with the utility nodes for rigging. The sample files include a simple arm rig, one set up with utility nodes, and one without the nodes so you can try adding them yourself.
To load the first sample file
- Select Window > General Editors > Samples Visor.
- In the Samples Visor, switch to the Feature Examples tab, then select the UtilityNodes directory.
- Middle-drag Utility_Nodes_Example_Start.mlt into the scene view.
A simple arm rig loads in the scene.
The following video shows the simple arm rig being set up with utility nodes to control joint rotation down the chain.
To play with the completed arm rig setup shown in this video, load the Utility_Nodes_Example_Finish.mlt file.
