Internal texture baking in Viewport 2.0

The following unsupported texture types in Viewport 2.0 are baked internally:

To increase the resolution of these internally baked textures:

  1. From the panel menus, select Options > Viewport 2.0 Options.
  2. In the Viewport 2.0 Options, expand the Bake Resolution for Unsupported Texture Types heading (under Performance).
  3. Increase the Color Textures value, for example, to 2048.
  4. Click Rebake All Textures to see the effect of the change.
Note: Performance can be slower with baked textures, depending on the bake resolution. In addition, your baked textures may render with low quality if the baked resolution is set too low.
