You can use either selection style (Marquee or Drag) to add and remove components from a selection. See Selection styles.
To add components to a selection using Marquee or Drag select
- Do one of the following:

-drag over unselected components. - -drag over unselected components. Note: When Drag select is on,-dragging over selected components removes them from the selection. -dragging over unselected components adds them to the selection.
To remove components from a selection
- -drag over selected components.
