Launching an analysis from the Job Manager dialog

You can launch an analysis directly from the Job Manager. To do so, you must first set the process conditions that the analysis will use.

1. Click (Home tab > Analysis panel > Job Manager).
2. Click on the required study name in the Studies pane. The study is highlighted and the analysis properties attached to the study will appear in the Job preview pane.
3. Select the target location in the Job server pane.

   Priority Jobs

   Means that the analysis will begin immediately.

   Batch Queue

   Allows you to run jobs at another time.

4. Click Submit to move a job(s) to the Job servers pane.

   If jobs are submitted to the Priority Jobs, they will begin immediately.

   To remove a job you have submitted, select the job to make it active and then click Abort Job.

5. If you've submitted a job to the Batch Queue, click Run/pause batch queue to start the job. The status of each job is displayed next to the individual job .

Note: The number of jobs that can be run simultaneously depends on the availability of licenses on your license server. Each reserved license allows three simultaneous jobs, however if the synergy GUI is running this limit is reduced to two jobs for the first reserved license.
