The Heater (3D) dialog is used to set up the simulation of hot runner heating elements. To access this dialog, select a heating element tetra, right click and select Properties from the drop-down menu.

| Heater control | For the purposes of this simulation, the heater element can be controlled according to a set temperature or a set heat rate, or flux. Select the option which best reflects your real-life mold, and enter appropriate values. |
| Name | If you have changed the default settings and would like to apply these settings to other analyses, save the changes to a unique name that you can select in future studies. |
| Apply to all entities that share this property | If you would like to assign these settings to the entire heater element, but have not selected all the heater element tetras, check this option to automatically assign the changes to the entire heater element. |
