Plot properties dialog-Mesh Display tab

Specify how edges are displayed on deformed and undeformed parts, and also the surface opacity of the parts.

Dialog elements

Edge display on undeformed part

Specifies how the mesh elements are to be displayed on the modeled (undeformed) part.

Off (Edge display on undeformed part)

Disables the display of the elements in the modeled(undeformed) part.

Feature lines (Edge display on undeformed part)

Highlights the features in the modeled (undeformed) part by making visible relevant element edges.

Element lines (Edge display on undeformed part)

Displays all elements in the modeled (undeformed) part.

Include non-manifold lines

Displays feature lines that are shared by more than two surfaces.

Edge display on deformed part
Specify how the feature edges are to be displayed on the deformed representation of the part in a deflection plot.
Note: The Edge display on deformed part options are only relevant if Overlay with undeformed part is selected on the Deflection tab of the Plot properties dialog.
Off (Edge display on deformed part)

Select this option to not display the elements on the deformed representation of the part in a deflection plot.

Feature lines (Edge display on deformed part)

Select this option if you want the features on the deformed representation of the part in a deflection plot to be highlighted by making visible relevant element edges.

Element lines (Edge display on deformed part)

Select this option to display all elements on the deformed representation of the part in a deflection plot.

Include non-manifold lines

Displays feature lines that are shared by more than two surfaces.

Surface display
Specify how the surface of the model is to be displayed in the result plot.
Opaque
Overlay the result plot on a solid (gray) representation of the model.
Transparent
Overlay the result on a semi-transparent representation of the model.
The lower the opacity value, the more transparent the model will appear.
Opacity
Specify the degree of transparency for the model display.

The lower the opacity value, the more transparent the model will appear.

Enter a value between 1 (solid) and 0 (not visible).
