Using the mesh orientation diagnostic

  1. Click Orientation Diagnostic (Mesh tab > Mesh Diagnostics panel > Orientation) and then click Show to display the Mesh Orientation Diagnostic .
  2. Check whether the orientation of the various features in your model is correct. The requirements for correct orientation depend on the type of mesh, Midplane or Dual Domain, and the aspect of the model, for example, part elements, insert elements.
