Configure the Job Manager

If you installed the Job Manager daemon, you must configure it before starting it.

Configure the Job Manager daemon user
By default, the Job Manager runs as an unprivileged local system user called amijm. You can change this if you have a preferred user that you want the Job manager to run as.
Configure the Job Manager temporary directory
Choose a temporary directory into which the Job Manager will store its files.
Open firewall ports
If your machine's local firewall is active, you need to open these ports for connections to succeed.
Start the Job Manager
When you have configured the Job Manager daemon, you can then start it.
