Results Comparison Explorer

The results of an optimization are displayed in tabular form in the Results Comparison Explorer.

The combination of variable values used in a particular study along with the requested quality criteria are displayed across the head of the Results Comparison Explorer table. Because of the large number of variables and criteria that can be selected, you can scroll through the table to investigate all of the resulting values.

Using this result

Review the Comparison Criteria results to determine which combination of Variables give the more desirable results. The following features are incorporated into the table to assist with data manipulation.

Sort by column value
Click the header section of any column and the table is sorted in either the ascending or descending order of that column.
Filter
Select Filter from the table head, and a new dialog appears. Adjust the sliders and only values that fall within the selected range are displayed in the Results Comparison Explorer table.
Reset Column Ranges
Click Reset Column Ranges and any filters are removed, showing the full set of results for the displayed columns.
Show/Hide Columns
Conceal or display selected columns for a focused analysis of the Variables or Comparison Criteria of interest.
Select Studies column
If the Keep result files option was selected in the Study Builder - Options tab, an additional column, Select Studies, is added at the start of the Results Comparison Explorer table.

Select a checkbox and the results of the corresponding study can be loaded into the project for further analysis.

Add Selected Studies to Project
When a study has been selected, the Add Selected Studies to Project button becomes active. Click on the button and a folder is created within the Project pane. The folder has the name of the study that the optimization was based on. Inside the folder are the studies selected from the Results Comparison Explorer with the Study Number appended to the Study Name.
For example, if Study Number 3 and 5 were selected from the results of the part called Panel, there would be a new folder in the Project pane called Panel. Inside that folder would be two studies, Panel_3 and Panel_5.
