Region By Ruling tool

The Region by Ruling tool allows you to create regions when you are in the process of creating a new model or adding to an existing model. To access this tool, click Region By Ruling (Geometry tab > Create panel > Regions > Region By Ruling).

The Region By Ruling Region by Ruling command is used to define a region by the two separate sets of curves that you specify. To create a region by ruling, the curves must be coplanar.

Dialog elements

Select first curve
In the modeling window, click on the first curve that will be used to define the new region. The region by ruling tool will create a region between the first and second curve that you select.
Select second curve
In the modeling window, click on the second curve that will be used to define the new region. The region by ruling tool will create a region between the first and second curve that you select.
Automatic apply when selection complete
When this checkbox is activated, the selected tool is applied automatically to the chosen mesh elements whenever all inputs have been specified.
