Setting thermal loads

When applying elemental loading conditions to a part, the element(s), direction of the load (force), and the magnitude of the load must be specified.

1. If you want to use a local coordinate system when setting the loads, first define and activate the local coordinate system.
2. Click (Boundary Conditions tab > Constraints and Loads > Thermal Load)
3. Select the required elements on the model where you want to set the load(s).
4. Enter the temperature increase (top and bottom) for the selected element(s).
5. Click Apply. The elemental load should now be applied to the model.
6. Click Close to close the dialog.
