Projecting the mesh onto model geometry

The Project Mesh dialog projects the selected mesh elements back towards the geometry surface. This command is useful when your mesh has become unexpectedly deformed and no longer follows the surface of your model.

  1. Click Project Mesh (Mesh tab > Mesh Repair panel > Project Mesh).
  2. Select the elements which need to be projected back to the surface of the model.
  3. Click Apply.
