Prerequisite software

Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Insight depends on some standard software packages that may not already be installed on your computer. They can be found on your installation media or you can electronically download them from your Linux vendor. The self-extracting installer will try to install these packages, if they are not already installed.

If you install the RPM packages manually, you will need to install the following packages manually too:
Distribution and version Required packages

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5.8

  • libgomp
  • libgfortran44
  • redhat-lsb

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.2 (or higher)

  • libgomp
  • libgfortran
  • redhat-lsb

For example:

To install prerequisite software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.3, use the command line: 
# yum install libgomp libgfortran redhat-lsb
