Region by Extrusion tool

The Region by Extrusion tool allows you to create regions when you are in the process of creating a new model or adding to an existing model. To access this tool, click (Geometry tab > Create panel > Regions > Region By Extrusion).

The Region by Extrusion command is used to create a region along the specified vector from the curve that you specify.

Dialog elements

Select curve

Allows you to select the curve to be extruded, along the vector that you specify below.

Extrusion vector

Allows you to specify the vector for the selected curve to be extruded along.

Enter the x, y, and z vector coordinates in a space separated list.

Note: The extrude vector must be on the same plane as the curve to be extruded.
