Two new controls have been added to the CAD tab of the Generate Mesh panel
- Percentage of minimum curvature size with respect to global size
- The minimum chord length used when meshing fine features can now be defined. This value is a percentage of the global edge length and has a default value of 20%.
- This feature limits the number of elements generated especially when a small chord angle tolerance has been defined.
- Growth rate
- The gradation of the mesh from around a fine meshed feature to the rest of the model can be manipulated. The value of the Growth rate can be between 0 and 1.0. A value of 0 is the standard mesh development rate, while a value of 1.0 results in the quickest transition.
- The number of elements that result from adjusting the growth rate will be dependant on the geometry of the model.
