Exporting a Moldflow study file in ASCII format

  1. Click Application menu, then click (Export > Model).
  2. Select Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Insight Model Format (*.udm) from the Save as Type drop down list.
  3. Click Save, to create an ASCII text file that can be opened with a text editor.
Note: Only a limited set of material data is exported from the information stored in the .sdy file.
