Selecting the insert material

You can select different insert materials from the Moldflow metal and polymer databases

1. Select all the elements of the insert, and when they are highlighted, then right-click.
2. In the drop-down menu, select Properties.
3. In the insert dialog, press the arrow associated with the Material from which this feature is made widget, and select the type of material.
4. Click Select associated with your selection.
5. Either select the material option provided, or click Select to search the database.
6. Once you have chosen your material, click OK to close all the dialogs.
