Using the Fill Hole tool

  1. In the Layers pane, select the layer you want the new entities to go into and then click Make Active.
  2. Click Fill Hole (Mesh tab > Mesh Repair panel > Fill Hole).
  3. Select the sequence of connected nodes that forms the boundary to be filled with triangles. You may find it easier to click one of the nodes, and then click Search for automatic selection of connected nodes.
  4. Click Apply.
