Setting volume loads

When applying elemental loading conditions to a part, the element(s), direction of the load (force), and the magnitude of the load must be specified.

1. If you want to use a local coordinate system when setting the loads, first define and activate the local coordinate system.
2. Click (Boundary Conditions tab > Constraints and Loads panel > Loads > Volume Load).
3. Select the required elements on the model where you want to set the load(s).
4. Enter the force to be applied in the X, Y, and Z directions.
5. Click Apply. The elemental load should now be applied to the model.
6. Click Close to close the dialog.
