Constraints - One-sided Constraints

This tool is used to constrain nodes on one side of a Part Insert (3D) or Core (3D) component, prior to running a Core Shift analysis.

To access this tool, click (Boundary Conditions tab > Constraints and Loads panel > Constraints > One-sided Constraint).

The One-sided Constraint command is used to constrain all translational degrees of freedom at the selected node(s). Select the nodes to be constrained with the mouse, click Apply, and the one-sided nodal constraint(s) will be displayed on the model.
