** WARNING 307018 ** The volume obtained from the initially filled compression element is too big compared to the volume needed to fill the cavity. It may lead to an overfill.

Explanation

The effective volume of the initial charge is greater than the design volume of the part, ie. the volume of the part when the press is completely closed. Because the volume of the polymer charge is greater than that required to fill the part, it is likely that it may lead to an overfill. Typically, the volume of the initial charge should be only slightly greater than the design volume of the part, to account for the shrinkage and other polymer behaviors.

Resolution

Decrease the effective volume of the initial charge so that it is only slightly larger than the volume of the final part. You can do this by creating a new, thinner geometry to represent the initial charge, and mesh it. If the required thickness change is only small, you might prefer to simply moved nodes on your current polymer charge, along a surface to decrease the thickness.
