Cartridge heater time with target temperature dialog

To access this dialog, open the Cartridge heater dialog, select Time with Target Temperature for the Heater control, and click Specify.

Property Description
Constant flux The heat flux sensor measures heat transfer in a single direction, by measuring the temperature gradient between two thermopiles. The heat flux is proportional to the differential voltage registered. Constant flux provides a constant heat transfer. Enter the constant flux value in Wm².
Switch off time Enter the time, following injection, at which the heater should be turned off.
Switch on time Enter the time, following injection, at which the heater should be turned on.
Temperature control This section of the dialog refers to the temperature at which the heater should be maintained, and where the temperature measurement is taking place.
Target temperature Enter the temperature at which the heater should be maintained.
Thermocouple node Enter the ID of the thermocouple node, at which the temperature measurement is taking place.
Cycle control If the mold has not reached the target temperature, you can choose to extend either the mold open or the mold close time.
