To access this dialog, open the Cartridge heater dialog, select Time with Target Temperature for the Heater control, and click Specify.
Property | Description |
---|---|
Constant flux | The heat flux sensor measures heat transfer in a single direction, by measuring the temperature gradient between two thermopiles. The heat flux is proportional to the differential voltage registered. Constant flux provides a constant heat transfer. Enter the constant flux value in Wm². |
Switch off time | Enter the time, following injection, at which the heater should be turned off. |
Switch on time | Enter the time, following injection, at which the heater should be turned on. |
Temperature control | This section of the dialog refers to the temperature at which the heater should be maintained, and where the temperature measurement is taking place. |
Target temperature | Enter the temperature at which the heater should be maintained. |
Thermocouple node | Enter the ID of the thermocouple node, at which the temperature measurement is taking place. |
Cycle control | If the mold has not reached the target temperature, you can choose to extend either the mold open or the mold close time. |
