You can look at the properties of the various encapsulant wires available in the databases.
Autodesk Simulation Moldflow databases include a default wire material for you to use in your simulation. If you use different encapsulant wires, it is advisable for you to create your own wire material database with your materials data. The closer the data used in a simulation is to real-life, the more accurate your results will be.
- Open a new or existing project.
- Select
(). The Search Databases dialog appears. - Select Wire material from the Property type list, then click OK. This opens the Seach Wire material Databases dialog.
- Select a wire material, then click Details to open the Wire material dialog. If you have not created a wire material database of your own, there is a default material available for you to select.
- When you have finished studying the properties of the selected wire material, click OK to exit out of the dialog.
