Editing a Moldflow study file

studymod is used to generate a study with modified geometry, boundary conditions and process parameters from an existing Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Insight study (.sdy ) file.

It cannot be used to change the material grade of a study, but material properties data can be modified.

There are three arguments used with this utility:

<InputStudy>; the name, with extension, of the original study file,

<OutputFile>; the name, with extension, of the modified study file,

<ModifierFile>; the name of the XML file containing the modifications to apply to the original study file.

Note: Studymod can only be used to modify valid, existing Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Insight study file with extension '.sdy'.

Attention: studymod has limited error checking; an invalid study file will not be read back into the software.
