** WARNING 701240 ** Slow convergence in 3D heat flux calculation.
The flux calculation for the tetrahedra elements uses a fully transient finite element solution in the tetrahedron regions. This 3D solution is having difficulty converging. Possible reasons for the slow convergence could be due to bad aspect ratio tetrahedral elements or unrealistic input conditions, that is, unrealistic hot runner flux. If 3D part inserts have been modeled, then a possible cause could be due to poor element matching at the part-insert interface. This warning typically only appears in the early stages of the calculation—subsequent updates to the dependant variables could correct the instability. If this warning is not present during the last 3D flux calculation, then it could be ignored.
Ensure that the solver inputs are all realistic. If part inserts have been modeled, ensure that the matching surfaces are on the same plane and no element intersections exist.
