Constraints-Pin Constraint

This tool allows you to constrain nodes on a model before setting a load and running a Stress analysis.

To access this tool, click Pin Constraint (Boundary Conditions tab > Constraints and Loads panel > Constraints > Pin Constraint).

The Pin ConstraintPin Constraint command is used to constrain all translational degrees of freedom at the selected node(s), but allow rotation. Select the nodes to be constrained with the mouse, click Apply, and then the fixed nodal constraint(s) will be displayed on the model.
