To Create Locked Global Options

To create a locked global options file

1. Run the stand-alone Options Editor in administrator mode, either
   • From the command line by typing "drive:pathname\OptionsEditor.exe" -l, or
   • Click Start All Programs Autodesk [product name] [language] Options Editor (Administrator Mode)
   Note: The Options Editor opens with the locking facility. Clicking on the padlock icon locks the corresponding option. When you are finished, click the Export button to create a locked global options file that can be shared with other users.
