Appending and Merging Page

Use the options on this page to select append and merge behavior when you work with multi-sheet files.

Ask Before Adding the File's Remaining Sheets/Models to the Current Project

Choosing this option displays an interactive dialog box after the append or merge operation is completed. You can decide whether the rest of the sheets/models will be added to your file or not.

Never Add the File's Remaining Sheets/Models to the Current Project

Choosing this option means that only the default sheet/model in the selected file will be merged or appended to the current scene. You can use the Project Browser to add the rest of the sheets/models to your file later.

Always Add the File's Remaining Sheets/Models to the Current Project

Choosing this option means that as soon as the append/merge operation is completed, Autodesk Navisworks will automatically add the remaining sheets/models in the file. Added sheets/models can be inspected in the Project Browser.
