Export Energy Analysis Results

You can export the results of an energy analysis for use in another application.

Use one of the following methods.

If you want to....	Then...
export an energy chart	in the Results and Compare dialog, click the chart to isolate the chart detail, click Export on the toolbar, specify a file format and target location, and click OK.
export the results of an energy analysis	in the Results and Compare dialog, select the result, click Export on the toolbar, specify a file format (DOE2, PDF, gbXML, or Energy Plus) and target location, and click OK.
open the results of an energy analysis in Green Building Studio	in the Results and Compare dialog, select the result, and click Open > Green Building Studio.
export the mass model geometry	on the ribbon, click ExportMass Model gbXML. In the Export gbXML dialog, specify a location and file name, and click Save.
export the energy analytical model to Design Review	in the Results and Compare dialog, select the result, and click Open > Design Review.

Note: The gbXML data exported from an analysis result (in the Results and Compare dialog) includes either the mass model or building element geometry and additional attributes, such as operation schedules, heating and cooling, constructions, and zone data. The gbXML data exported from the Revit application menu using the Export Mass Model gbXML includes only the mass model geometry.
