Add a Witness Line to a Dimension

When you want to use more reference points for a permanent dimension, add one or more witness lines to the dimension.

1. Select the dimension.
2. Click Modify | Dimensions tabWitness Lines panel (Edit Witness Lines).
3. Click the element for which you want to add a new witness line, and then click in the drawing area.
4. When you are finished, press Esc.
