Use View Types

Use view types to quickly apply certain graphics properties and view templates to new views, or to change graphics properties for existing views.

1. Do one of the following:
   Note: When changing the view type for an existing view, only the graphics properties are applied to the view. If the view type specifies a view template, the template is not applied to the existing view.

   If you want to apply a view type to	Then...
   a new view (during creation)	In the Type Selector, select the desired view type from the list.
   an existing view	Open the view, or select the view name in the Project Browser. On the Properties palette, select the desired view type from the Type Selector.
   multiple views	In the Project Browser, select multiple views (using Ctrl+click). On the Properties palette, select the desired view type from the Type Selector.
