Using the Reinforcement Design Extension, you can:
- verify reinforcement defined in Revit for a selected RC structure elements. Verification is performed in Robot in compliance with the requirements of an RC design code that you select.
Note: You can verify only reinforcement that was generated using a dedicated Revit Extension (such as Reinforcement of beams or Reinforcement of columns). It is not possible to verify reinforcement that was drawn in Revit.
- design (generate) reinforcement in Robot for an RC structure element selected in Revit. Reinforcement is calculated and generated in Robot in compliance with the requirements of an RC design code that you select.
- import reinforcement from Robot to Revit for concrete elements selected in Revit or Robot.
Reinforcement Design supports 3 types of the structure concrete elements: beams, columns, and spread footings.
Note: To ensure that reinforcement in RC structure elements is calculated and verified correctly, install Robot version 2015 on your computer.
Note: Revit Extensions for Autodesk Revit 2015 are compatible with the 64-bit versions of Revit 2015 software products. 32-bit installations of Revit are not supported.
