Process Overview

You can run a flow simulation on your model without leaving the Revit environment.

  1. Open or create a model with Revit.
  2. Select the system that you want to analyze by clicking one element of the system.
  3. In the Dalton tab, click Dalton to prepare your system for the analysis.
  4. Click Description: Solve Solve. The list of simulation results becomes available in the Results panel.
  5. Select a result from the list in order to visualize it on your model.
  6. If you want to share your results, click Export Export, and then select the folder where you want to save your results.
    Note: Results are saved as a CSV file.
  7. Click Render Results Render Results to save a screenshot of the selected simulation result.
    Note: Rendered results are available from the Coordination section in the Project Browser.
When your flow simulation is finished, click Finish Finish to return to Revit.
