All analysis types with a Nastran processor are now supported for solving on the cloud:
Cloud solving capability has been extended to cover more Nastran processors. All analysis types that you can run locally using a Nastran solver, you can now also run on the cloud. See the list of supported analysis types on the Additional Autodesk Nastran Solvers page.
Cloud solving support for automated workflow tools:
The following automated workflow tools are now supported for solving on the cloud when using Nastran processors. Previously, Nastran solutions using these tools had to be performed locally:
In order to use a Nastran processor for Global or Local Mesh Refinement, you must set the Default Processor for linear static stress analyses to Nastran. Do this in the Procesors tab of the Options dialog box (Tools
Options Application Options Processors).
Note: The
Parametric Study
automated workflow tool continues to be limited to local solving.
