Open the Model

We will first open the archive of the crank assembly.

1. Click Open on the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).
   • In the Open dialog box that appears, navigate to your tutorial models folder.
   • Select the Autodesk Simulation Archive (*.ach) option in the Autodesk Simulation Files section of the Files of type pull-down menu.
   • Select the Crank.ach file and click Open. 
2. Select the directory where you want the file to be extracted and click OK. The model opens in the FEA Editor environment, as shown below.
