To Configure Analysis Option Sets

Analysis option sets specify a set of variables used in analysis operations. When you create a new design, you specify the analysis option set to apply to all analysis operations performed on that design. If you do not specify an analysis option set when you create a new design, a default option set is assigned. You cannot change the default option set associated with a design. However, you can change variable values and apply the changes to the current design.

  1. In the Dashboard, click the Analysis tab to display the Analysis palette.

If the Dashboard is not displayed, click Home tabPalettes panelDashboardAnalysis.

  2. In the Analysis palette, expand any analysis operation and then expand the Variables list.

  3. Click the variable of interest and then click Edit.
  4. In the Configure Analysis Option Sets dialog box you can do any of the following:
    • Select a different analysis operation from the drop down list.
    • Change the value for any variable and then click Apply. The design is updated, including the analysis palette and analysis calculations.
    • Add a new option set by clicking Create A New Option Set.
    • Delete an existing option set by clicking Delete Selected Option Set.
  5. Click Ok to save changes and close the Configure Analysis Option Sets dialog box.
