You can add and remove categories of materials used in your designs and material lists. You can also add, remove, and rename items and sub-items in categories. If you have external catalog files, you can connect to them and import them into AutoCAD Utility Design.
The Material Catalog lists CU, Description, Cost, and Cost By for each item. After you import catalog data, you can add columns in the Material Catalog editor for custom attributes in the incoming data as needed.
To view and modify the rules related to material list generation, click Edit Or View Material List Generation Rules in the Material Catalog editor. The Rule Configuration dialog box is displayed. For more information, see About Rule Points.
