Adds a conductor, duct, or a collection of conductors and ducts to a previously created run (segment) of conductors/ducts.
Inserts a duct or conductor in the segment. You can nest ducts within ducts and add conductors to the ducts. As you add features to the segment, you are presented with the attribute list for each contained feature. Use the text at the top of the dialog box as a guide for which feature's attributes you are editing. Click Back to move up through the nested features to the top level which is the segment.
Inserts a load-carrying service point at the end of the inserted line. Use the attribute list to define attributes for the service line and point.
Specifies overhead or underground installation.
Specifies primary, secondary, service, or neutral.
Specifies the method used to place the additional ducts and/or conductors in the segment.
The Selection option requires you to click each segment in which to place new ducts and/or conductors.
The Path option requires you to click a start point and an end point. The inserted line is broken at each click point. Click the start point and the end point carefully to specify point features on the network. AutoCAD Utility Design determines the shortest path through the segments between the two points and inserts the ducts and/or conductors.
