This module makes different variants of for example, object's material, its position and orientation, lights, environments and viewpoint accessible by one click.
Open the Variant Sets Module using the button on the Quick Access Bar.
To create a variant, click Capture. The following dialog box enables the selection of what should be stored inside the variant.
Variants can be grouped to keep things clear. If no variant group exists at the moment of the variant creation it is generated automatically. A thumbnail image helps to distinguish the different variants at a glance. Use the slider on the bottom to zoom in or out of the thumbnails.
All scene contained variants are represented as a thumbnail image that helps to distinguish different variants at a glance. Click the group title to collapse or expand its representation. Drag variants to rearrange them within a group .
Removes the current variant group and its contained variants from the module.
These buttons are hidden on lower zoom levels than maximum.

The context menu of the variants preview image provides usual commands for the work with variants.

After recapturing the variant set, you must set the hotkey again.
