Create a custom deployment using the Autodesk Vault Client installation media. With this deployment, you can select which Autodesk Vault clients are installed with Autodesk Vault as well as the deployment location.
- Launch the Autodesk Vault Client installation media.
- Click Create Deployment.
- Enter a name for the deployment and identify the location for the administrative image.
- Select the target platform type and whether you want to include products only required by the deployment configuration.
- Select your installation settings and click Next.
- Accept the License and Services Agreement and click Next.
- Select the product language for the deployment and click Next.
- Vault 2015 R2 Only–select whether you want to install the full Vault client or the Vault Office version of the client and click next.
- Select the Vault Client and unfold its configuration page.
- Select Custom.
- Select which features to install from the list. When a feature is highlighted, a description of the feature displays to the right. Turn off a check box to exclude a feature from the installation.
- Select whether to include any service packs if updates are suggested.
- The default installation folder for the Autodesk Vault client is: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault [Edition] [Year]. To change the installation folder, click Browse and then select a new location. The disk space requirements are displayed below the selected installation folder.
- Fold the configuration page to continue with the installation.
- Unfold the Include additional software configuration page to add other software applications to the deployment, if desired.
- Select whether to include the Autodesk Application Manager.
Unfold the configuration page to select a new download path or to import a settings file.
- Select whether to include Autodesk Design Review 2013.
- Click Create to build the deployment package.
