Printouts tab

Use the Printouts tab to manage printouts in Autodesk AutoCAD Structural Detailing - Formwork Drawings. It displays a list of all printouts defined in a Formwork Drawings project, even those that do not include views.

The list of user-defined printouts and views is displayed in a tree hierarchy. Views display as the children of a parent printout, but the tree also includes the intermediate level, so that it is obvious to which document given views belong. If the printout layout is active, the icon of a printout corresponding to the active layout is displayed in red.

You can select only a single printout from the list at a time; it is impossible to select elements of 2 different printouts. What you select on the Printouts tab is also displayed in the drawing area.

The context menu that displays when you right-click a selection on the Positions tab contains several options:

• Delete - select this to delete selected printouts from a project
• Change name - select this to be able to change the name of a highlighted printout; type the new name on the command line
• Add printout - select this to add a blank printout to the project; type the name on the command line
• Activate - select this to activate a selected printout
• Unload printout - select this to make a selected printout inactive
• Save printout - select this to save a selected printout to a *.DWG format file
• Save all printouts - select this to save all printouts to *.DWG format file.
