Using the endplate - beam/column flange steel connection type, you can connect a beam to a column flange with either a bolted or a welded connection.
Allowable elements:
- Column
- Straight profiles: all sections
- Bent profiles: all sections
- Plate girder: column
- Plate girder: 1-segment beam
- Beam
- Straight profiles: all sections
- Bent profiles: all sections
- Plate girder: 1-segment beam
Location of elements:
- Allowable axis distance: maximally 1 / 2 of the flange width of the wider of profiles
- Allowable angle in the plane of the beam web: (-90°; +90°) without the extreme values
- Allowable angle in the plane of the beam flanges: (-30°, 30°)
- An angle may not be different from 0 in two planes simultaneously
