Using the clip angle - beam/column flange steel connection type, you can connect a beam to a column flange with either a bolted or a welded connection. The welded connection can be to the column flange, to the beam, or to both.
Allowable elements:
- Column
Straight profiles, bent profiles - sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42; 46)
- Beam
Straight profiles, bent profiles - sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42; 46)
Location of elements:
- Allowable angle in the plane of the beam web: (-75°; +75°)
- Allowable angle in the plane of the beam flange: (-75°; +75°)
